ANNUAL GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS DEADLINE NOV 18

 

CALL FOR ENTRIES: 21st ANNUAL GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS
ENTRY DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 18, 2009

  GLAAD is accepting submissions for the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards. The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, and the issues that affect our lives.

Submitted materials must be received in the Los Angeles GLAAD office by Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 6 p.m. PT.
 
You may download the entry form in PDF format, find definitions and eligibility parameters for each category, a FAQ, and an explanation of how nominees and winners are selected at http://www.glaad.org/mediaawards/21/submissions
 
Projects submitted for the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards must have been published, released, or broadcast in the United States between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009.  Potential nominees may be submitted in both English and Spanish-language media categories.  
 
Nominees for the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards will be announced on January 13, 2010.
 
Award recipients are announced at each of the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards events:  New York on March 13, 2010; Los Angeles on April 24; and San Francisco on June 12.
