(New York, NY) April 15, 2009black enterprise today announced a discounted registration fee of $99 for current undergraduate and graduate students who want to attend the 2009 Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference + Expo hosted by GM and ExxonMobil. This year’s conference will be held May 17-19 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan. The annual event, which was founded in 1995, consistently draws more than 1,100 of the nation’s most noteworthy African American entrepreneurs, business leaders, and corporate executives.

 

At the Entrepreneurs Conference, African American undergraduates will be able to gain an essential understanding of innovative leadership and establish long-term career goals. Relevant sessions include BE Small Business Success™ Boot Camp 101, Town Hall Meeting–Obama’s Economic Agenda: A Boom or Bust for Black Business?, Finding the Passion in Your Profession, Affordable Franchises You Should Buy Now, and the 2009 Elevator Pitch Competition hosted by OPEN from American Express.
