May Day Public Event: "In Our Hands is Placed a Power: A celebration of labor firebrands in story and song." Dramatic accounts, newspaper records and folk music bring to life the history of labor struggles from the 1886 fight for the 8-hour day to the battling Stella D'oro cookie factory strikers of today.
