Charity Spa Soirée to Benefit the Foundation for Living Beauty

Founder of The FFLB, model & entrepreneur Dena Cali

WHAT: Model, beauty brand entrepreneur and philanthropist Dena Cali, Closer actress and event hostess Gina Ravera, along with recording artist Kelly Price, have invited other celebrity guests ranging from Academy Award nominees Taraji P. Henson, Angela Bassett; cancer survivors and women looking for an exclusive beauty enhancement experience, to attend a charity spa day. All proceeds raised will benefit the Foundation for Living Beauty (FFLB), a non-profit organization (founded by Cali in 2005) dedicated to empowering women living with cancer.

Available spa treatments include manicures, pedicures, massages, reflexology, facials, make-up sessions and more! Also included will be cocktails sponsored by Nuvo sparking pink liqueur, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction and a chic shopping experience at the spa's boutique. All attendees will receive a complimentary gift bag with high-end products provided by Dena Cali Holistic Beauty. This event is open to the public.

WHY: To raise awareness and essential funds for the Foundation for Living Beauty's 2nd annual Goddess Wellness Retreat, scheduled July 13 - 16, 2009. The retreat is a free four day program that will empower 20 women who are currently living with or have survived cancer. Activities will include exercises geared toward rejuvenating the mind, body and soul. The FFLB's mission is to ultimately help women regain their sense of femininity, self-worth, beauty, and emotional stability after coping with the taxing effects of cancer and chemotherapy.
