WEST HOLLYWOOD - The 2011 Golden Globes nominations were announced today and the list of nominees includes four Latino stars of Film and Television, two male and two female:
“Modern Family” actress, Colombian Sofía Vergara is up for the “Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-series, or Motion Picture made for Television” for her role in the series. Christina Aguilera’s film “Burlesque” received two nominations. One in the category of “Best Motion Picture- Comedy or Musical” and one for “Best Original Song.” ‘Biutiful,’ was nominated for “Best Foreign Language Film.” Carlos, the miniseries about Venezuelan revolutionary Ilich Ramírez Sánchez aka Carlos the Jackal, received nominations for “Best TV Movie or Mini-series” and Venezuelan star Edgar Ramírez received a nomination for “Best Actor in a Mini-series or TV Movie.” The complete list of nominees for the 68th Golden Globes is below:
