Jackson to Receive 100 Black Men of America Chairman's Award for Education

Dr. John H. Jackson will receive the 2009 Chairman's Award for Education from 100 Black Men of America, during their 23rd Annual Conference on Friday, June 12th, at the Hilton New York.  This award is being bestowed upon Dr. Jackson in recognition of his commitment to the uplift and empowerment of youth across the nation.

Other notables that have received this distinguished award include:

Dr. Yvonne Sanders Butler
Founder of Healthy Kids, Smart Kids and
Principal of Brown Mill Elementary and Magnet School

Dr. William Harvey
President of Hampton University

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson
Georgetown University Professor and Author

100 Black Men of America is one of the nation's leading organizations in the nation for supporting and promoting positive gain in the Black community, particularly among Black youth.
