Premier Retail Networks, Inc. Broadens Advertising Sales Force

SAN FRANCISCO , February 08 /Businesswire/ - Premier Retail Networks, Inc. (PRN), a global leader in providing innovative digital out-of-home media solutions, today announced the hiring of several key sales executives on the company’s national advertising sales force and support team.

The appointments follow the recent formation of strategic alliances with TargetCast Networks and indoorDIRECT, Inc.

PRN Chief Sales Officer D. Scott Karnedy said, “To support our strategy of aggressively growing our world-class portfolio with additional premium networks, we continue to broaden our sales team with top sales executives from Digital Out-of-Home and new media. These hires advance and reinforce our position as one of the largest and most experienced sales organizations in the space.”

Sue Burger

Based in San Francisco, Sue Burger joins PRN as senior vice president of sales operations and client services, leading the sales development, market research, sales operations and advertiser services teams. With more than 20 years experience in new media, Sue is an accomplished sales operations executive. In her 13 years with AOL Inc. (and six years prior with a startup that was acquired by AOL), she led the account management and sales process groups that support online advertising and marketing. She holds a bachelor of arts in communications from Lewis & Clark College in Portland.

Jamie Rush

Jamie Rush joins PRN as vice president of sales, based in New York. Jamie has spent his entire 20-year career in media, with extensive experience in radio, outdoor and digital signage. Prior to PRN, he was with Van Wagner Communications and seven years with Sherwood Outdoor, both in New York selling Times Square digital spectaculars and other large-scale venues. Before that, Jamie was general manager of Sporting News Radio WSNR and national sales manager at WFAN Radio in New York. He holds a dual degree in English and Communications from Washington & Jefferson College in Pennsylvania.

Monica Alexy

Monica Alexy joins PRN as vice president of sales, based in Philadelphia. She joins PRN from Philadelphia Media Holdings (Philly.com), where she was national online sales director. Before that, she was director of interactive services at CBS Radio in Philadelphia, following positions in the same city as senior account executive at The CMI Network, Inc., national account director at AOL Inc., and senior account executive at CBS Radio/Infinity Broadcasting/KYW Newsradio. Monica holds a bachelor of arts in speech communications from West Chester University.

Eric Osipow

Eric Osipow joins PRN as vice president of sales, based in Chicago. He brings to PRN more than 10 years of media sales experience, most recently with digital out-of-home company RMG Networks -- the company that resulted from Danoo’s acquisition of Ideacast. Previously, he was with Discovery Communications, where he sold their diverse portfolio of media offerings and founded Discovery’s Hispanic-focused sales team. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Emerson College in Boston.

Jeannine Palmieri

Jeannine Palmieri joins PRN as vice president of sales, based in Los Angeles. She is a 10-year veteran of sales in digital consumer media. With a particular focus on the entertainment vertical, she has been highly successful in selling for Gas Station TV, Zoom Media and Marketing, and worked at News America for six years. She won multiple national awards in sales with News America, including their Global Excellence Award. Jeannine holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Massachusetts.

Emily Smith

PRN sales director Emily Smith moves from San Francisco to join PRN’s New York sales force. She brings 12 years of experience in marketing and sales, including four years at PRN in the sales development group. Prior to that, Emily was with Sony Studios in Los Angeles handling marketing for their television properties. She holds a bachelor’s of arts in political science/public service from UC Santa Barbara.
