Brought to you by director Justin Polk and Summit House’s Ritual Film Co. producers Matt Pfeffer and Steve Cundari, Matthew Stafford: Locked In debuts on April 18 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on the LA Rams’ digital platforms, local broadcast stations, and on NFL Network.

“I’ve observed Matthew Stafford’s progression from his high school days to the NFL, and it’s clear that his true character has never fully been captured until this moment. This documentary isn’t just about football; it’s about peeling back the layers to reveal the multifaceted individual beneath—showcasing the leader, teammate, and father within,” said Polk. “You’re about to see a side of him you never knew existed, offering a unique perspective on one of the NFL’s finest quarterbacks who hasn’t received the respect he rightfully deserves.”

Following one of the longest tenured quarterbacks in the NFL, Matthew Stafford: Locked In gives fans an inside look to Stafford’s preparation for competing at the highest level in sports as well as an up close look at his relationship with family and friends.

“When setting out to tell this unique story, Steve and the Summit House team were the secret ingredient in truly taking the helmet off and giving an inside look at Matthew’s life at the highest production level, said LA Rams chief marketing officer Kathryn Kai-ling Frederick.

The feature dives into one of the most intense periods of the LA Rams season – in a span of five days, they hosted two games against the Washington Commanders and New Orleans Saints. Viewers will have an all-access look into everything Stafford did in those two weeks, from the meeting room to the training room, from the field to the backyard. Matthew Stafford: Locked In shows how Stafford finds the balance on the field and at home, even during the most intense stretch of an NFL season. The documentary also follows Stafford and his wife, Kelly, on an emotional visit to the Detroit Lions, where Stafford spent the first 12 years of his career.

"As one of Matthew’s closest friends, it was an honor to tell his story and give the world an all-access look underneath the helmet and inside the world of one of the best to ever do it,” said Cundari.

Matthew Stafford: Locked In will premiere on the Rams’ channels and NFL Network on Thursday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, with an encore on Friday, April 19 at 12 a.m. ET/Thursday, April 18 at 9 p.m. PT. The show also will air later in April on NFL Channel.
