Made possible by generous Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie customers, the donation will support each facility’s specialty programs, including family centered support, therapeutic activities, research, child advocacy, pediatric cancer and additional programs that contribute to the recovery of young patients.

To further support neighbors during some of their most challenging times, SEG is donating an additional $8,000 in gift cards and breakfast treats to moms spending Mother’s Day with their children in the hospital while they receive care at one of the grocer’s eight hospital partners. Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie associates will deliver gift cards, fresh flowers and delicious breakfast items to bring joy to families and show gratitude during the holiday.

Raymond Rhee, Chief People Officer for Southeastern Grocers, said, “These eight exceptional children's hospitals hold a special place within our communities, similar to the vital role mothers play within their families. We are profoundly grateful for the steadfast support of our customers and communities, whose unwavering commitment has enabled this significant donation that will empower our dedicated pediatric hospital partners to maintain essential programs. As we approach Mother’s Day, we are honoring extraordinary moms and mother figures, and we are committed to bringing comfort and joy to our customers and our communities no matter where they may be celebrating.”

The contributions made during SEG’s donation program will support the following pediatric care facilities:
