Premiere of Urban Flic at MOMA

NEW DIRECTORS/NEW FILMS is excited to present Ordinary boys on April 4 at the Walter Reade Theater (April 5 at MOMA). Documentary filmmaker Daniel HernándezÂ’s slice-of-life drama paints a portrait of regular people with simple desires and examines how the specter of infamy casts a pall over simple dreams and aspirations.

Ordinary Boys will be screened with Adam Leon and Jack Pettibone RiccobonoÂ’s KILLER. Based on a real game played in NYC today, the film features a cast of newly discovered young talent, including a breakout performance by lead actor Xavier Pena. Doc or not? KILLER is a glimpse into an urban rite of passage defined by all-night stakeouts, the gritty terrain of the city, and the recklessness of adolescence.
