SHERROD SAYS NO

 WASHINGTON - Embattled former U.S. Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod, who was fired from her post with the department after being falsely charged of discriminatory practices, today rejected a new job offer from the federal government.

She explained her situation in an interview with CNN in Washington:
