98.7 KISS FM PRESENTS

The Third Annual

KISS CARES RADIOTHON FOR ST. JUDE

New York, NY. 98.7 KISS FM New York “The Best Variety of Old School and Today’s R&B and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital present the Third Annual KISS Cares Radiothon for St. Jude on Friday March 27th and Saturday March 28th from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. KISS FM listeners can donate to St. Jude by calling 1-800-982-9965 during the two-day broadcast.

During the past two years, the Radiothon raised more than $350,000 in pledges for St. Jude.  Reggie Nance, Emmis Communications Community Outreach Manager said, We are thrilled to partner once again with St. Jude for the 3rd annual KISS Cares Radiothon. This event has become part of the fabric of our community outreach initiatives.  The cause resonates deeply with our listeners, and that they look forward to supporting it every year.  Opening up our airwaves for two incredible days to make a difference through supporting St. Jude is part and parcel of what 98.7 KISS FM is all about.”

Since opening in 1962, St. Jude has treated children from all 50 states and around the world. Through its research and treatment, St. Jude has become a leader in increasing overall survival rates for childhood cancers from less than 20 percent when the hospital first opened to more than 70 percent today. Researchers and doctors at St. Jude also serve HIV positive infants, children and adolescents and study the long-term effects of the disease and medications that are used to treat it.
