Africa Fashion Week Teams With NFL Star To Improve Education

NEW YORK, NY- Africa Fashion Week (New York) (AFWNY) pairs up with Hope Africa Foundation, founded by NFL NY Jets Safety James Ihedigbo, to help improve education in Africa.  Adireé Fashion Agency, the producers of AFWNY, will donate some of its proceeds to the foundation.

Hope Africa Foundation’s goal is to provide more opportunities for young Africans to excel in school and achieve better education.  Through scholarships that allow African students to study in the USA, the foundation “hopes” the students will not only grow themselves, but give back to Africa and help their country grow as well.

“Educating young children is extremely important in order to help Africa grow”, stated Adiat Disu, Founder and Producer of AFWNY.  “It is wonderful that fashion will help students have an opportunity to learn and grow in the USA and bring back their knowledge to Africa.”
