Asian Art Sales Break Record At Christie's

NEW YORK - Christie's leads the Asian Art market, totaling $117 million, the highest total for Asian Art Week at Christie’s New York, achieved in seven sales from March 22 to 25.

 

Jonathan Stone, International Head, Asian Art, said: “The resounding success of Christie's New York Asian Art Week at $117 million, almost $40 million more than our previous record, is a testament to the outstanding property Christie's presented and to the robust market.  Record prices in every category validate Christie's global leadership in Asian art.”
