Billboard Latin Music Awards To Air Next Thursday

MIAMI -  More super stars of Latin music have confirmed their participation in the Billboard Latin Music Awards 2010 presented by State Farm. Nelly Furtado, Ricardo Montaner, Wisin y Yandel, Luis Fonsi, Marco Antonio Solis, Jencarlos Canela, Banda Los Recoditos , and Gilberto Santa Rosa will share the stage with artists who previously announced their performances, including Tito "El Bambino", Juan Luis Guerra, Camila, Thalia, Joan Sebastian, Pitbull , and David Bisbal. The Billboard Latin Music 2010 presented by State Farm will be held onThursday, April 29th at 7PM CT ET/6PM at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan , and will be broadcast live and in high Telemundo definition , the first Hispanic network to broadcast in true high definition. Tickets for the event are now on sale through www.ticketpop.com.

After completing the first part of his successful tour My Plan 2010, which included some of the most important cities in Latin America, Nelly Furtado is ready to captivate the audience in the scene of the Billboard Music Awards Latin. Furtado is a finalist for four awards Billboard Latin Music, including "Latin Pop Airplay Artist of the Year, Female." For his part, one of the most romantic voices,Ricardo Montaner is ready to turn the long-awaited stage show. During his successful career spanning over 20 years, Montaner has published more than 15 productions and has sold over 22 million records. His most recent concert tour has taken him to many Latin American countries including Mexico and Argentina.

Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel , one of the top finishers of this year, has chosen this great event to celebrate the success of their multi-platinum production "The Revolution" and promises one of the most energetic performances of the evening. Also in Puerto Rico, and competing for six awards, comes the pop superstar Luis Fonsi, who has added a stop to their "Palabras del Silencio Tour 2010" to offer a unique presentation.

The singer, songwriter and producer Marco Antonio Solis will return to the scene of the prestigious awards to offer one of the most anticipated performances of the night. Solis, who is also known as the "Poet of the Century" by her legion of fans worldwide, will delight audiences with its unique romantic style. The star of Telemundo, Jencarlos Canela , who is a finalist in the category "Latin Artist of the Year, Debut, is ready to shine in their world debut on television with a subject of varied repertoire of their first album" Look for me. " Meanwhile, Banda Los Recoditos come from Sinaloa to present his successful album "Ando Bien Fart", which has remained at the top of the Billboard charts for more than 10 weeks.

The tropical music fans will be delighted with the participation of Gilberto Santa Rosa , who was recently named "Tropical Music Artist of the Decade" by Billboard. Santa Rosa competing for four awards including "Tropical Album of the Year" for his hit CD " El Caballero De La Salsa ".
