Businesses Gather For Int'l Diversity Summit

VIENNA, AUSTRIA - Europe's Leadership Conference for Business Top Executives, Global and European Diversity Thought Leaders

The World Diversity Leadership Summit Europe is taking place for the 2nd time on March 24th and 25th 2011 in Vienna, Austria. The Summit will be taking place at the Gewerbehaus, Rudolf Sallinger-Platz 1 (A-1030), of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is the proud host of the conference. The patron of this year's conference is the Austrian Federal Minister of European and International Affaires Mr. Michael Spindelegger.

WDLS-EU brings together high-profile international and national Diversity and Inclusion experts, CEOs of the world's leading corporations, policy and decision makers, corporate practitioners, academics, representatives of the media, etc. who will share their insights, strategies, best practices and worst practices and research findings on how today's businesses and marketplaces can profit the most from Diversity and Inclusion and stay competitive on a global level.

150 participants have already signed up for this high-ranking event. Over 80 leading national, European and global companies and research institutes will take part in the 2nd World Diversity Leadership Summit Europe 2011.

More than 60 high-ranking Diversity thought leaders, practitioners as well as national and international CEOs will contribute to WDLS-EU 2011.

For the first time WDLS-EU 2011 is staging the European Diversity Leadership Honours, a European Prize which will honour 8 companies in 4 categories: Creative Leadership, Multicultural Working Environment, Innovative Research Findings and Work-Life-Flexibility. Two companies have been chosen in each of the four categories for their outstanding performance in promoting diversity and inclusion. The nominated companies are:

         * London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) Ltd. (UK) * Center for Creative Leadership CCL (Belgium) * Henkel (Germany/Austria) * ICUnet AG (Austria/Germany) * IKEA (Austria) * Ecker&Partner (Austria) * Universum (Schweden) * Mercer/ORC Networks (USA)
