Dates Set For Women's Private Equity Summit

LEXINGTON, MA  -- The 4th Annual Women's Private Equity Summit—the must-attend annual conference for senior-level women in private equity and venture capital—will be held March 3 & 4, 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, California.  This major industry conference attracts a powerful group of leaders – GPs, LPs, and advisors to the industry – to facilitate networking, fundraising, and deal-making opportunities and increase access to hard-to-get information. Close to 350 influential women attended last March's Women's Private Equity Summit.

Among the distinguished keynote speakers slated for the 2011 Summit are noted economist Christina D. Romer and Sandra Robertson, CIO and CEO, Oxford University Endowment Management. Romer is the former Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors in the Obama administration and is now a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley.  Robertson leads the Oxford University Endowment Management Limited (OUEM,) which manages money solely for the charitable entities that comprise the collegiate University of Oxford.

Summit founder and managing director Beth Falk, president of conference producer Falk Marques Group, said this year's conference will reflect the extraordinary changes that have roiled the private equity marketplace in recent years.  "We're presenting a compelling, content-rich program that encourages our attendees to network with peers and to engage in candid discussions of the challenges and opportunities facing the business of private equity," said Falk.

In addition to high-profile keynoters, the Women's Private Equity Summit will present more than 40  dynamic speakers drawn from the alternative investment world's top limited partners, general partners, and advisors. During moderated panel discussions, topic-focused roundtable conversations, and interactive keynote dialogues this "Who's Who" of the private markets will share their insights and experience with Summit attendees.

The Women's Private Equity Summit has once again attracted a select group of prominent conference sponsors, many of which are returning for their fourth year as Summit supporters.
