NEW YORK - As New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was commemorating Americans with Disabilities Day inside his posh ceremonial home of Gracie Mansion, demonstrators were outside.

They were protesting what they considered a lack of concern by the Mayor for the economically poor who are disabled.

Protestors, one of whom was arrested, charged people with AIDS are mostly being ignored. They also demanded better access for the disabled to the city’s taxi cabs.
