NEW YORK – The 30th annual Dominican Day Parade danced its way up the streets of Manhattan yesterday.

NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg kicked-off the parade declaring New York is the home to the greatest number of Dominicans in the US.

The parade featured colorful floats blaring Latin music with scores of spectators enjoying the sights and sounds while waving the Dominican Republic’s flag.

Police reported 11 people were arrested on a variety of charges
