Hearing - "Helping Small Business Innovators through the Research and Experimentation Tax Credit"

 

WASHINGTONDC - On Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., the House Committee on Small Business, Subcommittee on Contracting and Technology, will hold a hearing entitled, "Helping Small Business Innovators through the Research and Experimentation Tax Credit."

 

The Research and Experimentation Credit, or R&D tax credit, has long been a driver of technological breakthroughs and innovation. The credit is currently set to expire at the end of 2009. Small business witnesses will testify on how extending the tax credit will assist a variety of industries, and further the nation's economic recovery.
