Cloud Girls Rising Awards Application Deadline Extended to Jan. 31, 2020

5th Annual Awards Honor Female Cloud Evangelists in the IT Channel.

PR Newswire

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. and SANTA ANA, Calif., Jan. 24, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cloud Girls, a next-gen tech think tank, and Alliance of Channel Women, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology, announced today that they have extended the deadline for nominations for the fifth annual Cloud Girls Rising: Women to Watch Awards on March 9, 2020, at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.

Nominations are being accepted through Jan. 31, 2020, at https://tinyurl.com/CGAward2020.

The Cloud Girls Rising Awards will be given to women who have demonstrated innovation, solution-orientation and thought leadership in the cloud space in 2019 in two categories:

  • Trailblazer: A seasoned female technology veteran who is paving the way for her organization, customers and industry in advancing cloud and next-generation technology solutions.
  • Rising Star: A female up-and-comer in the cloud community who has shown initiative in advancing cloud and next-generation technology solutions for her organization, customers and the industry.

"The Cloud Girls Rising award was created to inspire more thought leadership and forward movement by women involved in the cloud technology space," said Jo Peterson, founder of Cloud Girls and vice president of cloud services at Clarify360. "We're recognizing female cloud leaders who make an impact in the emerging technology industry while encouraging more women to rise to the occasion and make a difference."

The awards program is open to women working across the spectrum of products, tools and technologies that make up the cloud ecosystem.

Women eligible for these awards are in sales, marketing or engineering roles at a channel partner organization — agent, VAR or MSP. To apply, visit https://tinyurl.com/CGAward2020. All applications must be submitted by Jan. 31, 2020. Applications will be reviewed and scored by board members of Cloud Girls and Alliance of Channel Women.

The winners will receive a trophy, which will be presented on the expo stage at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, along with announcements on the Channel Partners' and Cloud Girls' websites, an award logo for their websites and email signatures, and a one-year complimentary membership in Cloud Girls.
