PR Newswire

BOISE, Idaho, Feb. 25, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- KidCheck secure children's check-in is pleased to announce its latest feature, Check Out Receipt Texts. Check-Out Receipt Texts provide organizations caring for children with an additional child check out option.

The child check-out process is just as important as check-in; and making sure any person picking up a child from a childcare setting is authorized to do so is a must. Check Out Receipt Texts provide another option making check-out convenient, fast and secure. It utilizes text messaging and mobile devices, which fits perfectly with today's mobile lifestyle.

How it works: When a child is checked in to an organization using KidCheck, the parent/guardian will automatically receive a text with a link to a unique digital check-out receipt and QR code. At check-out, organizations simply use a 2D barcode scanner to scan the code on the parent's phone, or complete a visual verification of security codes.

Check-out remains secure as the Check Out Receipt Text has a unique security code for that child's check-in and is only accessible on the authorized guardian's phone. If the person picking up is different than the person dropping the child off, they too can receive a text with the link to the digital check-out receipt. This is determined by the family.

"Check Out Receipt Texts is a fast, secure and convenient child check-out option for staff and volunteers working at organizations such as churches, gyms, activity centers, camps, daycares and other child focused facilities," said Alex Smith, KidCheck CEO. "There's no need to match tags, look up codes or check IDs, simply scan the secure unique code texted to the guardian's phone."
