Peace Kids Lighting Candles to Heal Planet from Coronavirus

Peace To The Planet foundation invites families from around globe gather by videoconference in solidarity during these dark times.

PR Newswire

LOS ANGELES, April 1, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Peace to the Planet invites kids to grab their grown-ups and a candle and some matches for Intention Candle Lighting for Healing the Planet every Thursday at 6 PM Pacific, with Peace to the Planet founder Pat Montandon via Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/peacetotheplanetorg/.

Montandon, whose work has included more than 35 peace missions with children to meet with world leaders and heads of state, always incorporated candles, meditation and intention—which opened doors and produced remarkable results that continue to reverberate around the globe.

"It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness."

Now the adult kids who traveled with her, and many children in the U.S. and abroad, are greeting and gathering via videoconference every Thursday evening to light an Intention Candle for health and healing, and a thriving planet for all. #healtheplanet

About Peace to the Planet

Peace to the Planet, formerly Children As The Peacemakers, was founded by Pat Montandon, recipient of the UN Peace Messenger award and also nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Originally founded in 1982 on the premise that the key to creating a peaceful world lies within our children, the foundation has spearheaded an array of programs on an international scale, such as Peace Kids Peace Clubs, to think and act constructively about peace and the environment, and to unite with children from other cultures to reinforce mutual goals and areas of understanding. Results have included the participation of hundreds of thousands of children in over 80 countries and the formation of a cooperative network of 40 adult organizations worldwide.
