Open Letter to Religious Leaders to Pray for President Trump

Open Letter to Religious Leaders to Pray for President Trump

PR Newswire

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 8, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- In an open letter, Charlotte, North Carolina, energy and tech CEO Solomon Ali calls on spiritual and religious leaders to pray for President Trump during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

Dear Religious Leaders:

I am writing this open letter to the spiritual and religious leaders of our nation to call to action a sentiment of unity, under one God and one nation during these trying times for the United States of America and the world at large. Our spiritual leaders must come together in unity to pray for our government on the frontlines, fighting COVID-19, and all who are affected.

This is not a time for political or religious division, as such division is a nonconstructive response to this pandemic. Divisiveness and polarization has manifested the invisible enemy of coronavirus. We must learn from this mistake and move forward as one nation under God. This includes praying for the president of the United States and our leadership.

President Donald Trump needs prayer to guide him in making the right decisions, and there is no prayer stronger than group prayer. The president has a difficult job. We need to unite behind him. We also need to look to God, not solely our government. This is a spiritual problem that can only be solved through spiritual healing.

We are witnessing history in the making, much like generations before us who weathered two World Wars and The Great Depression. We are bearing witness to the beginnings of a massive reset.

Whether we are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu or Buddhist, our spiritual leaders must unite us all in a collective prayer as one nation under God to help President Trump lead our nation.

Spiritual leadership means humbling oneself and performing tasks typically deemed "undesirable" in conventional societal constructs. My plea to our spiritual leaders of every religious background is to come together in joint fellowship to demonstrate the power of unified prayer.

I am asking our religious leaders to set a date to organize the most powerful prayer our nation has ever seen, to pray for our current leader, President Donald Trump, for our courageous coronavirus task force, and our healing.

This unified prayer will act as our earth's spiritual cleansing and reset.

Sincerely,

Solomon Ali
