Camlu Assisted Living Under New Management; CiminoCare adds to growing roster

STOCKTON, Calif., Sept. 15, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Camlu, an assisted living community, is pleased to announce it is under new management. Camlu has served the Stockton community since 1972. The new owners, the Novellus Living Group, have partnered with the experienced experts at CiminoCare to manage the community. CiminoCare is a highly regarded, family-run business that operates several senior living communities in Northern California. Specific to the Central Valley, CiminoCare manages Novellus Living's memory care community Orangeburg Manor in Modesto along with its own River Fountains of Lodi, an Assisted Living community.

"We are very excited to be chosen to manage Camlu, a well-respected assisted living community in Stockton for many decades. As a company with a long history of serving the area, we look forward to bringing our expertise and synergy from our other communities to enhance the operations and well-being of staff, residents, and families of Camlu," said MaryAnn Shinn, co-owner of CiminoCare.

Founded in 1988 by Wilma and John Cimino, CiminoCare remains privately-owned to this day, which means its team can focus on providing expert care to residents, not producing profits for shareholders. While Wilma remains active in the company, helping to preserve the nurturing philosophy that characterized CiminoCare's first community in Burlingame, California, the organization has grown under the skilled and dedicated management of her son and daughter, Mark Cimino and MaryAnn Cimino Shinn. Both Mark and MaryAnn grew up helping their parents care for residents who, to them, became family. Those formative years of bonding with residents continues to shape how they manage the communities entrusted to them: essentially, as if they were caring for family.

As the new managers of Camlu, CiminoCare's seeks to preserve all that is special and valued by the current residents, while introducing the practices and programs that have enriched the lives of so many at other CiminoCare communities. Mark and MaryAnn sincerely believe that placing "people above profits" is not only a noble concept, but a strong and viable business model.

Established in 1972, Camlu Assisted Living Community has been a mainstay in Stockton, providing excellent care and service for decades. The quiet and relaxed 86-room community is conveniently located near shopping, medical facilities, cultural and recreational venues as well as having it's on on-site park and a memorial rose garden.

Camlu Assisted Living is located at 6037 N. Pershing Ave., Stockton, CA 95207 (209) 951-2030.
