InventHelp Inventor Develops an Improved Car Seat Design (CBA-3843)

PR Newswire

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 19, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- "My son has autism and down syndrome, and he can find a way out of every car seat we put him in. I wanted to create a way to keep him, and other children like him, safe and secure," said an inventor from Laurens, S.C. "So, I created the WHODEENIE SEAT SYSTEM & ACCESSORIES."

The invention fulfills the need for a child car seat with a pull-over restraint that would lock out of reach of the child, ensuring the youngster could not release it and was always properly restrained in the seat. It provides peace of mind and eliminates the need to turn around to check (while traveling) to see if children are safely buckled in their seats. This seat could save lives by allowing the safety harness to restrain the youngster in the event of an accident. It eliminates the need to continually pull to the roadside to re-seat and re-buckle the child. Additionally, this design could be especially appealing to parents or caregivers of children with special needs.

The original design was submitted to the National sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers. For more information, write Dept. 19-CBA-3843, InventHelp, 217 Ninth Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, or call (412) 288-1300 ext. 1368.
