Chloe Wine Collection Announces Two Initiatives in Celebration of Women’s History Month

LIVERMORE, Calif. , March 03 /Businesswire/ - Chloe Wine Collection is proud to announce two initiatives in celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. Chloe Wine returns as a second-year sponsor of Dress for Success’ annual Your Hour, Her Power® fundraising campaign, which aims to help women enter, return to, and thrive in the workplace. Additionally, Chloe Wine kicks off a scholarship program in collaboration with Napa Valley Wine Academy to recognize and reward women in wine.

These programs are part of Chloe Wine Collection’s ongoing commitment to raising women up and celebrating their triumphs – the foundation of their 360-degree marketing campaign, ‘Celebrate Her Story,’ which launched in 2020. “As a brand led by a woman winemaker, we are thrilled to celebrate Women’s History Month by joining forces with two likeminded organizations and raise a glass to hardworking women everywhere,” said Melanie Amezaga, Senior Director of Marketing for Chloe Wine Collection. “We look forward to building on last year’s momentum and paying it forward to the women whose stories inspire us.”

Supporting Dress for Success & #YourHourHerPower:

Dress for Success’ annual Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day campaign, #YourHourHerPower, is inspired by the belief that when a woman has access to opportunities that can change her life for the better, she becomes powerful beyond measure. COVID-19 has impacted working women at disproportionate rates with 75% of Dress for Success affiliates reporting clients are facing an uncertain future. This campaign, which invites supporters to donate an equivalent of one hour’s pay, funds critical programs that help women find and maintain jobs, become financially independent and learn leadership skills – tools that are needed now more than ever.

In addition to donating to this important cause, Chloe Wine Collection has teamed up with Entrepreneur and TV Personality Whitney Port for the second year in a row to raise awareness for the services Dress for Success provides to help women look and feel their best professionally. Together with Chloe Wine, Whitney will be sharing some of her fashion and career-building tips with Dress for Success clients to inspire hope and resilience. To learn more about the campaign, visit www.yourhourherpower.org.The fundraiser runs through March 31.

Launching Scholarships to Support Women in Wine with Napa Valley Wine Academy:

Known as America’s Premier Wine School™, Napa Valley Wine Academy is an approved program provider of the internationally recognized WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) wine and spirit and Sommelier courses across the US. In an industry that faces gender inequality, where just 14% of California winemakers are women, Chloe Wine Collection is honored to work with the Napa Valley Wine Academy to award five $1,000 scholarships to women in wine. Scholarship applications will go live on March 15. As part of the application process, entrants will be asked to write an essay on a female mentor that helped shape their career. Scholarships will be awarded in June. For more information about the application, visit https://napavalleywineacademy.com.
