Outdoorsy expands female leadership with key board appointments

AUSTIN, Texas, March 4, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Outdoorsy, the most-trusted and only global online RV rental and outdoor travel marketplace, today announced two appointments that further exemplify its presence and leadership in the industry.

Jen Young, co-founder and CMO of Outdoorsy, has been elected to the Women Leading Travel Hospitality association as an advisory board member. Women Leading Travel & Hospitality is a new association that connects executive women across all sectors of the travel and hospitality industry. Young joins leaders from other renowned travel companies on the board, including Hard Rock International, JetBlue, Luft, Delta Airlines, Four Seasons, Marriott International, MSC Cruises, Hotwire, Airbnb, Hilton and more. As one of the board members, Young will provide resources, industry expertise and participate in key events to help build up the community of strong women leaders across the nation.

In addition, Outdoorsy is further bolstering its board with the appointment of Kim Armor as Director and Chairwoman of its Audit Committee. Armor currently serves as Managing Director and CFO at Comcast Ventures where she oversees the company's portfolio of investments and financial operations for the investment group. With extensive experience in businesses in disruptive markets, Armor will bring strong expertise in investments, strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, organizational leadership, operational process, audit, and mentorship to Outdoorsy.
