Caring Transitions Raises Thousands to Feed Those in Need

The Senior Relocation and Transition Services Company Hosts 1st Virtual Charity Auction

PR Newswire

CINCINNATI, April 19, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Caring Transitions, the leading senior relocation and transition services company, announces the success of its first Caring for the Cause virtual auction. Thanks to everyone who participated, the auction raised a total of $4,700 for Deo Gratias Café, a nonprofit run out of Deo Gratias Ministries in Detroit.

The café, which launched in early 2020, provides free or "pay what you can" meals to those in need, and serves as a food pantry for the local community.

100 percent of the proceeds from the Caring for the Cause virtual charity auction went to support the café. Caring Transitions donated the use of CTBIDS platform, the company's online estate and auction site, along with a variety of items, including luxury handbags and Detroit sports memorabilia to help raise the funds.

"We heard about the work Deo Gratias is doing in Detroit, and we are so honored to be able to help in this way," said Ray Fabik, President of Caring Transitions.

This was the first auction of its kind to be hosted by CTBIDS. Caring Transitions is eager to expand this opportunity to any nonprofit or charity that could benefit from this type of fundraiser.

"Thanks to the success of our first charity auction under our Caring for the Cause giveback program, we look forward to helping many more nonprofit organizations and charities raise badly needed funds in the future," adds Fabik.

Despite the pandemic, CTBIDS is coming off a successful 2020, where it experienced 300 percent increase in sales, and it is a key revenue driver for Caring Transitions franchise owners.

Caring Transitions is a solutions-oriented company that works to make it easier for aging adults to downsize or to move into senior care facilities. The Caring Transitions experts are there every step of the way to help with packing, transporting family treasures and selling items that will no longer fit into the smaller space.

With more than 11,000 baby boomers reaching retirement age every day, the need for senior care services is at an all-time high, and Caring Transitions is ready to offer its unique resources to seniors and their loved ones as well as give back to the communities they serve through the Caring for the Cause program.
