Goodie Nation Releases 2021 Mid-Year Progress Report

ATLANTA , July 21 /Businesswire/ - Nonprofit leader Goodie Nation™ today announces the release of its mid-year 2021 progress report around programs and initiatives on behalf of social entrepreneurs and diverse founders.

The report highlights key movement and momentum in the development of creative programs and corporate partnerships, networking relationship metrics, mental health awareness and support, founder impact and other milestones.

Goodie Nation’s Intentionally Good initiative, a relationship and growth program that unifies the startup, corporate, and social good ecosystems to increase the competitiveness of tech-focused social entrepreneurs and diverse founders, just completed its second year.

“We’ve had some amazing organizations that have been on this journey with us. Google for Startups, Verizon, AARP, Deloitte, Venture Atlanta and more have all been incredibly action-based and creative on how they can help,” said Joey Womack, CEO of Goodie Nation. “We are really appreciative of all who have invested their time, talents, capital and expertise into bolstering our community and making a difference. We want to thank everyone who got us here, and we are looking forward to what’s next."

Goodie Nation also announces the launch of Society of the Good, a six-month pilot for tech professionals who want to invest in closing the Relationship Gap for social entrepreneurs and diverse founders.

“The program elements and tools we are building are creating results in real time,” added Womack. “We’re proud to report that 60 percent of our program founders reached their Q2 milestones, resulting in $5 million in revenue and $12 million in funding. We are continually strengthening our community, adding both founders and experts to our network.”
