The World Gave Her Nothing to Work With, But Her Lord Gave Her Everything

Xulon Press presents a powerful personal memoir.

PR Newswire

KITCHENER, ON, Aug. 2 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author Christiana Asantewaa Okyere-Folson, (PhD) shares her story of God's power to overcome any circumstance in Shining Ever Brighter: From Nothing to Something ($25.49, paperback, 9781662821974; $9.99, e-book, 9781662821981).

Asantewaa grew up as one of seven children in Accra, Ghana. Their family circumstances changed when she was 14, forcing her and six siblings to fight for shelter, food and schooling. Even though she passed through tremendous trials, God saw her through and opened the doors she needed to obtain a scholarship to pursue her education in Canada and begin work helping others who are struggling.

"This book is to reiterate to the world the Hope, Deliverance and Restoration in God regardless of anything and everything. May your Faith Rise as you navigate the pages of my gift to the world," said Asantewaa.

Dr. Christiana Asantewaa Okyere-Folson is currently a Hegarty Postdoctoral Research Associate at Michigan State University and a Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Scholar. She is also a Mandela Washington Fellow, awarded by the US government for her contribution to improving quality of life of vulnerable populations in African contexts. Dr. Okyere-Folson co-hosts a YouTube channel (The Folsons Tube) with her beloved husband Kweku Gumye Folson that focuses on topics including faith, education/career, and relationships.
