Veterans Embody Unique Assets in the Ministry and Should Be Trained Accordingly

PR Newswire

Xulon Press presents teaching on spiritual healing for veterans.

COLUMBIA, S.C., Aug. 15, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author Ernest Branch offers wisdom based on both professional and personal experience in God's Warriors in Action: Veterans in the Ministry ($10.99, paperback, 9781662856310; $4.99, e-book, 9781662856327).

As a veteran of both the military and the ministry, Branch understands the unique blessings and challenges this combination presents. He addresses veterans entering the ministry, focusing on how Christian values and doctrines impact them specifically, and how they can best cope with their pasts and the expectations of others.

"I am a Christian in training in Jesus's Academy and Bible Boot Camp. I believe in God the Father creator of Heaven and Earth. God the Son Jesus Christ Savior of Humanity, God the Holy Ghost the Comforter," said Branch.

Rev. Dr. Ernest Branch is the Associate Pastor of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Eastover, SC, who served in the USMC from 1956-1986. He earned a B.A. from Shaw University; a Master of Education from Cambridge College; a Diploma of Religious Education from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary; and graduated from Newburgh Theological Seminary, Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies, Doctor of Education Specialization in Christian Education.
