Denver Employees Retirement Plan joins the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System for Automated Distribution

Denver Employees Retirement Plan joins the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System for Automated Distribution

PR Newswire

Today, the Denver Employees Retirement Plan has officially joined the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System to help streamline their bid distribution process.

DENVER, Oct. 6, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, the Denver Employees Retirement Plan has officially joined the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System to help streamline their bid distribution process. The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System is one of Bidnet Direct's many regional purchasing groups throughout the nation, which offers participating local government agencies an e-procurement solution. The Denver Employees Retirement Plan invites all vendors to register online with the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System to access its upcoming solicitations by visiting http://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/derp.

Once registered with the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System, vendors are able to log on to a centralized location to search for various bid opportunities, download the necessary documents and submit their proposals. By publishing their upcoming solicitations to the regional purchasing group, in addition to their website, the Denver Employees Retirement Plan is able to reach more vendors in their area and throughout the state and provide them with an easier way to access all the bid opportunities available. The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System also allows the Denver Employees Retirement Plan a way to track all bid activity, including the details of vendors who have received or downloaded a bid, this also gives vendors a chance to see who else is interested in the bid and who they could potentially partner with if necessary.

"Using the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System has made it so much easier to post our bids and reach more vendors," says Jake Huolihan, Finance and Technology Director of the Denver Employees Retirement Plan. "We're able to publish our solicitations and the accompanying documents, any addendums, Q&A, provide vendors with plan holders' lists and most importantly, having the ability to track every step of the bid process, which is helpful to see who is truly interested in our bid and gives us the crucial information on how to improve our process for future solicitations. Joining the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System has truly been a huge improvement to how we go about posting and awarding bids."

The Denver Employees Retirement Plan invites all local vendors to visit http://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/derp and register to receive access to its upcoming solicitations as well as the upcoming bids and RFPs from over 350 other public agencies who are also members of the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System. Registered vendors also gain access to a team of experienced customer service support representatives and can upgrade their service to receive customized bid alerts, advanced notice of term contract expiration, and notifications of any posted addendum.
