Big 12 Conference Releases Champions for Life Series

IRVING, Texas , November 29 /Businesswire/ - The Big 12 Conference announced today the release of Big 12 Champions for Life: Set the Standard, a three-part original series now available on the Conference’s YouTube channel.

As part of the Conference’s award-winning Champions for Life campaign, now in its eighth season, the series spotlights a football student-athlete from each Big 12 program. The episodes feature a round-table format and include individual interviews and game highlights.

Featured in the series are:

  • Grant Miller, Baylor
  • Anthony Johnson Jr., Iowa State
  • Caleb Sampson, Kansas
  • Randen Plattner, Kansas State
  • Justin Broiles, Oklahoma
  • Brendon Evers, Oklahoma State
  • Andrew Coker, TCU
  • Jordan Whittington, Texas
  • Tony Bradford Jr., Texas Tech
  • Sam James, West Virginia

In Episode One, Johnson, Broiles, Coker, Whittington, and Bradford discuss breaking stereotypes and giving back to their communities. Episode Two highlights Miller, Sampson, Plattner, Evers, and James sharing what their platforms have given them. For Episode Three, all 10 players talk about the importance of positive mental health.

In addition to these three episodes, short interview features on each of the 10 were shared throughout the football season on Big 12 platforms. A 30-second PSA highlighting the campaign is also in rotation and runs during Conference-controlled telecasts on ESPN and FOX.
