Greta Colyer Named User-Centered Design Practice Lead at INCATech

PR Newswire

INCATech Congratulates Greta Colyer, as she officially takes on the role as Practice Lead for our User-Centered Design (UCD) Practice Area.

RESTON, Va., Dec. 5, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- INCATech Congratulates Greta Colyer, as she officially takes on the role as Practice Lead for our User-Centered Design (UCD) Practice Area. This is a rapidly expanding area for INCATech as federal agencies strive to come into compliance with the Executive Order on Transforming Federal Customer Experience and Service Delivery to Rebuild Trust in Government. These federal initiatives are guided by OMB circular A11 section 280, Managing Customer Experience (CX), and Improving Service Delivery.

User Centered Design serves to develop systems and experiences that increase service quality and value, are simple and easy to use, and embrace the principles of equity, inclusion, and transparency. "Service" is defined and inspired by customer perception. The manner in which those interactions are effectively coordinated, easy to navigate, and mitigate uncertainty, largely determines their satisfaction and trust.

Ms. Colyer has worked on user-experience for custom information management systems for both private as well as public sector missions. Recently, she supported the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) to enhance their user experience, increase design quality, and improve development efficiency for their Personnel Recovery Information Data System. She is currently leading the discovery phase for the Department of State's planned redesign project for Travel.State.Gov - one of the federal government's most popular websites with tens of millions of visitors each month. She's expertly led a cross functional team of UX designers, content specialists, and user researchers to plan for execution of a user centered modernization.

Ms. Colyer is a Nelson Norman User Experience Certified Professional. She will lead INCATech's strategy and programs to help government agencies achieve their CX goals by establishing and executing CX programs, implementing CX improvements in customer facing web sites, developing reliable CX measures and analytics, and selecting superior talent for our organization.
