CHG Healthcare Announces Three New Promotions, Expanding Senior Leadership Team

SALT LAKE CITY , February 08 /Businesswire/ - CHG Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest privately held healthcare staffing companies, today announced the promotions of Lisa Grabl as CHG Healthcare group president, Brooke Bowers as CompHealth’s locum tenens division president, and Kerry Norman as executive vice president of operations. These executives cumulatively bring almost 50 years of experience in the locum tenens staffing industry and contribute to a rising trend of women leadership, where 44% of director and above roles at CHG are held by women. As part of their expanding commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), CHG recently announced signing the Parity Pledge, has been part of the Shatter List for three consecutive years, and was recognized as one of 100 Companies Championing Women.

“Lisa and Brooke have both been instrumental to CHG’s success for more than 20 years. They each started on the front lines of the business and worked their way up, with first Lisa and now Brooke leading our CompHealth locum tenens division. Not only are they a proud example for other women in the company — they are both powerful models of strong sales and cultural leadership, which is core to our growth strategy,” said Scott Beck, CEO of CHG Healthcare. “Kerry is known as a talent developer, a sought-after coach, an advocate for our people, a champion of our DE&I initiatives, and will undoubtedly continue her influence in her new role as she takes our operational excellence to the next level.”

The new positions for Grabl, Bowers, and Norman will help strengthen alignment and partnership among all CHG divisions and advance the company’s leadership in the healthcare staffing sector. More about the executive promotions:

  • Lisa Grabl joined CompHealth in 2001 and has held multiple recruiting and leadership roles within the organization. Most recently, she served as CompHealth president and led the division through the turbulence of a pandemic and hybrid work, while inspiring growth and record business results. Grabl played an instrumental role in developing CHG’s business development strategy, including expanding the service offerings and digital solutions for healthcare organization customers. Now as CHG group president, Grabl’s deep knowledge, experience, and culture-building focus will continue to drive positive momentum for the company.

“In my new role, I look forward to building and streamlining partnerships and business processes between all our divisions,” said Grabl. “I also plan to help leverage the combined power of CHG’s brands to make a positive difference for our customers and our people.”

  • Brooke Bowers joined CompHealth in 2002 and has held multiple sales and leadership positions throughout the company. In her most recent role as senior vice president, Bowers championed CompHealth’s sales strategies, which played a pivotal role in the division’s continuous growth and customer satisfaction. Bowers’ experience as a senior leader and commitment to CHG’s values, including growth and putting people first, will serve her well in her new position as CompHealth’s president.

“I have developed a passion and strong sense of pride for our business, primarily because of the people within CompHealth and the life-altering work we do,” said Bowers. “As I think about where we are headed, I am most excited to see us adapt and evolve to stay competitive for our people and our customers. Our industry continues to be full of opportunity, and it's an exciting time to be a part of CompHealth.”

  • Kerry Norman joined CHG in 2017 after 17 years at Capital Group, an investment management firm. During her time at CHG, Norman has led multiple divisions with more than 400 people, including talent operations, business technology, financial operations, real estate, workplace, and operational services teams.

"Since I joined CHG, I have always been on the people side of the business — working with our employees and nurturing those relationships is my passion," said Norman. "I believe having operational excellence allows us to serve our customers better and ensures that our people here at CHG have valuable, meaningful work. Being able to maximize the talent we have and keep our employees engaged is what inspires me, and I'm looking forward to building on this more in my new role."

“Lisa and Brooke have both been incredibly influential in their decades of service at CompHealth and CHG in growing our business, as has Kerry who has been part of the CHG family for almost six years,” said Leslie Snavely, chief sales officer at CHG Healthcare. “We are thrilled to recognize their contributions and their potential, and we enthusiastically support them as they lead the way into the next chapter for both CompHealth and the broader CHG company.”
