Canela Media's original animated series SúperEllas for Canela Kids celebrates Latina trailblazers

NEW YORK, March 30, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Canela Media, a leading, minority-owned technology driven company committed to redefining digital media experiences for the Hispanic Community, announced today its original animated series celebrating Latina trailblazers for Canela Kids SúperEllas was selected as a 2023 Gracie Award winner from the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) in the Non-English - Family Programming category. This award will be given at the Gracies Gala on Tuesday, May 23rd at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

SúperEllas is an animated and educational series available exclusively on Canela.TV in the Canela Kids section that follows Nelly and Lucía, two best friends who embark on a colorful storytelling historical journey exploring the lives of inspirational Latinas who have changed the world. The stories will feature their lives, work and accomplishments and will inspire little girls to reach new heights and be proud of their heritage. The series features seven episodes, each highlighting one Latina trailblazer.
