Federman & Sherwood Investigates McPherson Hospital for Data Breach

OKLAHOMA CITY , May 26 /Businesswire/ - The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into McPherson Hospital, located in McPherson, Kansas, with respect to their July 2022 data breach. On May 5, 2023, McPherson Hospital notified patients that the company experienced a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer data entrusted to the company. According to McPherson Hospital, they determined that information stored on their servers may have been subject to unauthorized access prior to July 12, 2022. McPherson Hospital determined that the information exposed in the data breach includes: names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial information, medical information (including diagnoses, medications and test results) and health insurance information.
