Sentrex Health Solutions, in Collaboration With the Fatty Liver Alliance and Advanced Liver Imaging to Host a Community Liver He

LONDON, Ontario , May 31 /Businesswire/ - Sentrex Health Solutions, in collaboration with Advanced Liver Imaging and the Fatty Liver Alliance, is proud to announce a community liver health event aimed at raising awareness about non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and its more serious form, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). In recognition of International NASH day, the London Liver Center will be hosting a community educational event that will take place on June 10th at the London Liver Center located in Suite #266, 230 Victoria Street, London.

NAFLD and NASH are rapidly emerging as significant health concerns globally. These conditions are characterized by the accumulation of fat in the liver, leading to inflammation and potential liver damage. With the increasing prevalence of obesity and sedentary lifestyles, it is crucial to educate the community about the risk factors, prevention, and management strategies associated with these diseases.

The London Liver Center will be offering free Fibroscan® assessments during the event. A fibroscan® is a non-invasive and painless diagnostic procedure that measures the stiffness of the liver and provides valuable insights into the health of liver. The test takes about 5 minutes to complete. Anyone interested in receiving a Fibroscan® test can book their free appointment in advance by visiting our Calendly page at https://calendly.com/sentrexliverhealth/fibroscan

"We believe that prevention and early detection are key to addressing liver diseases such as NAFLD and NASH," said Dr. Paul Marotta, a leading hepatologist at the London Liver Center. "By hosting this community event, we aim to raise awareness and empower individuals to take control of their liver health through education and proactive healthcare measures."

Event Details:

  • Date: June 10th 2023
  • Time: 9:00AM to 3:00PM
  • Venue: London Liver Centre, Suite #266, 230 Victoria Street, London, Ontario

The liver health event is open to the general public, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about NAFLD and NASH. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in informative discussions, ask questions to experts, and connect with local resources for ongoing support. Fibroscan® assessments must be pre-booked in advance.
