FIBRA Prologis Receives Investment Grade Credit Rating of BBB+ from S&P

MEXICO CITY, June 5, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- FIBRA Prologis (BMV:FIBRAPL 14), a leading owner and operator of Class-A industrial real estate in Mexico, today announced that S&P Global Ratings assigned FIBRA Prologis a long-term credit rating of BBB+ with a stable outlook. This compares with Prologis that has an A rating and Mexico that has a sovereign rating of BBB.

A securities rating is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold securities and is subject to revision or withdrawal at any time by the rating organization.

"This rating is a recognition of the strength of our balance sheet within the sector and our mindful risk management," said Jorge Girault, senior vice president, Finance, Prologis Property México. "We expect that this accomplishment will help us lower our cost of capital and benefit our holders."
