EoS Fitness Surpasses One Million Members, Continues Nationwide Expansion

DALLAS , September 19 /Businesswire/ - EoS Fitness (www.eosfitness.com), the fast-growing High Value. Low Price. (HVLP)® gym with more than 125+ locations open or on the way nationwide, celebrated a major milestone this month when its one millionth member joined the EoS family. The gym also announced three new locations as part of its ongoing aggressive growth strategy.

Since opening its doors in 2014, EoS Fitness has been rapidly expanding its footprint across the United States, bringing high-energy accessible fitness to Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Texas and Utah residents. With most locations open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and memberships starting at $9.99/month, EoS provides a premium fitness experience at an affordable price, any time of day. From the wide variety of group fitness and cycling classes; and the MOVEoS Cinema, where members can work out in a movie theatre setting; to the EoS Yard®, a turf functional training area featuring battle ropes, sleds, tire flips and more; EoS offers something for everyone. Many locations also offer an expansive Kids’ Club, indoor pool, hot tub and saunas.

To further support members in achieving their health and fitness goals, EoS locations feature top-of-the-line cardio machines, an abundance of Olympic lifting platforms and high-end smart technology strength equipment like EoS Smart Strength powered by EGYM, a seven-piece smart technology line that personalizes and gamifies each member’s workout to their individual goals and fitness levels.

EoS also offers innovative recovery options including The Tank, a brand-new recovery space featuring Hyperice percussion massagers, Normatec compression boots, professional grade stretch tables and CryoLounge+ loungers; and Recovery Rooms dedicated to complete relaxation with Human Touch® massage chairs.

To date, EoS has invested millions of dollars in new and existing gyms, created thousands of jobs and opened more than 2.5 million square feet of fitness space across the country. With the current $83 billon gym industry set to experience explosive growth in the next seven years, Custom Market Insights (CMI) estimates it will reach $125 billion by 2030. EoS’ one millionth member milestone serves as an indicator of where the fitness leader is headed in the next five years, with growth in Texas and Florida leading the charge. As part of the company’s five-year growth plan, EoS plans to have 250+ open gyms by 2030.

“As we grow, we’re constantly evolving and looking for ways to elevate our gyms. And as we continue to expand and enter new states, we’ve had to remain nimble, and at times get creative,” said Rich Drengberg, CEO, EoS Fitness. “We opened our 40th gym in January of 2020 and despite the challenges of the pandemic, we’ve more than doubled in size since then, opening our 80th gym in May of 2023. It’s a testament to our agility as a company and how we’re always innovating to improve the member experience.”

EoS recently opened the doors to its fifth Houston area location, its sixth in the state of Texas. This opening builds on EoS’ plans to open 50 new locations in the Greater Houston Area and DFW metroplex, bringing approximately 2,800 new jobs to the Texas market by 2028. EoS also opened its ninth gym in Florida last month in the growing Miami-Dade County community of Kendall, expanding EoS’ existing footprint throughout Florida in Miami, Orlando and Tampa, keeping the gym’s expansion plans on track for 10 Florida locations by the end of 2023. The newest EoS Fitness location opened in Phoenix this month, bolstering the brand’s presence in Arizona and marking the company’s 29th gym in the state.

Each new location brings investment and job opportunities to the communities EoS serves. EoS has more than 50 new leases already signed and an aggressive pipeline of new locations through 2030 in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Texas and Utah, representing thousands of new fitness job opportunities in these growing communities. By 2030, EoS plans to invest tens of millions of dollars into its existing locations to revamp amenities and bring next level recovery options and high-tech workout solutions to legacy gyms.

“For EoS, growth isn’t just about opening new gyms,” said Dave Reiseman, chief growth officer, EoS Fitness. “Our growth and improvement mindset extends to gyms we’ve already opened as well. We’re committed to continual reinvestment and have an entire team dedicated to staying on the cutting-edge of the industry. It’s imperative to us that all of our gyms, regardless of age, are in peak condition and that we’re providing our members with the most innovative fitness equipment and machines available and best in class amenities and services.”
