Voyager Sopris Learning Releases New Reading Intervention Program For Developing K–5 Readers

DALLAS , May 07 /Businesswire/ - Voyager Sopris Learning, part of Lexia, a Cambium Learning Group brand, announced that LINKS to LiteracyTM, a new reading intervention program for developing readers from kindergarten through fifth grade, is available for pre-order. The tutoring product delivers systematic, explicit instruction in the five essential components of reading (phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency) to help ensure students reach reading success.

Designed for small-group intervention, LINKS to Literacy provides 30 lessons per level with flexible implementation models, including summer or intersession breaks, after-school programs, tutoring sessions, and during school intervention. Each lesson follows a consistent routine with engaging themes such as art, science, technology, travel, personal reflection, courage, and resilience. Based on the science of reading, LINKS to Literacy aligns with evidence-based practice for language and literacy. With a clear focus on teaching essential reading components, the program provides systematic and targeted instruction, organized lesson plans, and feedback suggestions for the teacher to ensure the best instruction possible.

“There is a need for new, innovative solutions that better support students on their diverse reading journeys,” said Cassondra Mantovani, Vice President of Voyager Sopris Learning. “LINKS to Literacy was designed with students in mind and is well-aligned with our goal of helping all students master the skills for reading. It provides the link many developing readers need for grade-level success through themes and passages that let students learn about the world around them and make connections to their own lives.”

LINKS to Literacy is available now for pre-order and will be shipped May 2024. To learn more about the program, visit: https://www.voyagersopris.com/products/reading/links-to-literacy/overview.
