MEDIA ALERT: Lovett Elementary student to receive iPad at May 15th school awards ceremony for winning Math Nation Test Yourself!

CLINTON, Miss. , May 09 /Businesswire/ - Lovett Elementary sixth-grader Alexander Baugher has won the top prize in the Math Nation Test Yourself! Challenge in Mississippi. Baugher will be presented with an iPad at the school’s student awards ceremony on May 15 at 9 a.m.

Baugher is one of four iPad winners and one of thousands of students statewide who participated in the Test Yourself! Challenge. The competition was open to all Mississippi schools utilizing Math Nation’s digital Test Yourself! Practice Tool to prepare for their state exam.

Students earned entries into the Test Yourself! Challenge prize drawing by scoring a 6 out of 10 or higher on each 10-question Test Yourself! quiz. They could earn one entry per Math Nation unit in their enrolled course. Using the interactive Test Yourself! Practice Tool, students can check their knowledge at the end of each section, get instant feedback, and explore resources that fill in gaps.
