Hispanic C-Suite Corporate Council Announces Diego Souza, Sandra Rosa & Guillermo Diaz Jr. to the HC3 Board of Directors

DETROIT , June 11 /Businesswire/ - The Hispanic C-Suite Corporate Council (HC3) is proud to announce the appointment of Diego Souza, Sandra Rosa and Guillermo Diaz, Jr. to the Board of Directors. This strategic decision marks the organization’s continued commitment to enhance the development, leadership, and philanthropic efforts of Hispanic executives and fortify the Hispanic influence within their respective companies, organizations, and communities.

Chairman of The Board, George Herrera, and the President and CEO of HC3, Andre Arbelaez, highlighted the organization's strategic initiatives to elevate Hispanic business leaders within C-Suite roles and the U.S. economic-driving power of the Hispanic market. Diego Souza

Diego Souza is a cybersecurity expert with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Prog Holdings. He has built and improved security programs for large corporations globally. Diego is also passionate about promoting diversity in IT and mentoring teams. His remarkable contributions to information security make him a highly influential figure in the industry.

Diego has led security organizations at Cummins Inc., United Airlines, and GE Oil & Gas, where he developed world-class security strategies. He holds an MBA in cybersecurity and another in business management, along with several certifications that equip him with the necessary tools to build and maintain successful cybersecurity programs, while integrating elements of business management and strategic leadership to enhance overall business outcomes.

Diego is heavily involved in entrepreneurship, providing strategic advice for venture capital organizations and serving as a Senior Advisor for Dune Security, a leading cybersecurity company in the security and awareness space.

Sandra Rosa

Sandra Rosa is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Syniverse, a global communications technology company headquartered in Tampa, where she brings over 30 years of experience in coaching, talent management, performance planning, employee relations, compensation, and change management.

Prior to joining Syniverse, Sandra served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Santander Consumer USA, where she directed the human resources activities. Prior to that, Sandra served as SVP and Executive Director Human Resources Business Partner at Santander Bank, N.A. in which she supported the largest business areas at the bank. Before joining Santander in 2017, Sandra was the Head of Talent Acquisition for JP Morgan’s Consumer Bank and Chase Wealth Management businesses. During the 24-year tenure with JP Morgan Chase, she held a variety of senior human resources business partner roles.

In addition to her professional duties, Sandra is also very active in the community. In 2024 and 2025, she will serve as the board chair for The Concilio, a non-profit organization that builds stronger communities by unlocking opportunities for Latino families. Sandra has also served on the National board for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). NFTE focuses on activating the entrepreneurial mindset in young people in underserved communities.

Guillermo Diaz, Jr.

Guillermo Diaz, Jr., is a transformative global business leader and champion of diversity, equity and inclusion. Diaz is the Founder and CEO of Conectado Inc., an innovative Web 3/AI digital platform with the mission to accelerate access to opportunities for those that are underrepresented. He serves on the Board of Directors for Blue Shield of California, Unicoin and Jack in the Box (JACK); also, the social impact boards for the Cristo Rey High School Work Study program, Npower – supporting veterans and young adults and the Stanford Latino Entrepreneur Initiative.

Previously, he was a transformational innovator across Cisco Systems and the technology industry where he developed a strong track record for accelerating results through people, process, and technology. Guillermo served as Cisco’s Global Chief Information Officer and was responsible for the IT organization, strategy, and services.
