WEST COAST PREMIERE OF WOMEN'S HIP-HOP FILM, SAY MY NAME

 

 

San Francisco, CA (BlackNews.com) The International Black Women's Film Festival kicks off a weekend of film with the West Coast premiere of SAY MY NAME, a film about women combating negative imagery in hip-hop through their music and dance. The film stars recording artists Erykah Badu, Dr. Roxanne Shante (from "Roxanne's Revenge"), Monie Love, MC Lyte, Rah Digga, and more!

Join us for an evening of entertainment, music, fun and film at the beautiful Oakland Museum of California! Invited guests include Pam Grier, Oscar® nominated star Taraji P. Henson, Rosario Dawson, Dr. Maya Angelou, True Blood's Rutina Wesley, Cold Case's Tracie Thoms, and others!
