DALLAS -- The Dallas Regional Chamber's 15th annual Women's Business Conference will take place on Thursday, October 14th at the Sheraton Dallas from 8 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Women's Business Conference is a day-long professional development conference and networking opportunity created to inform and inspire business women and men – professional, corporate and entrepreneurial – at all levels in their careers.

The event will feature luncheon keynote speaker Lisa Ling, a field correspondent for The Oprah Winfrey Show and contributor to ABCNews and National Geographic's Explorer. Ling has reported on issues that are too often ignored from dozens of countries around the world, including gang rape in the Congo, bride burning in India and the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda. She is a special correspondent for CNN's Planet in Peril series and contributing editor for USA Today's USA Weekend magazine.
