The federal government has filed a housing discrimination lawsuit against the city of Joliet in Illinois. The lawsuit filed in Chicago claims Joliet hasn't offered an affordable housing plan to accommodate the mostly black residents who'd be displaced by the planned condemnation of the Evergreen Terrace housing complex.
