America's minority children have fallen further behind in the last year in a wide variety of areas, according to a report releaed today by the Children’s Defense Fund. The report also shows continuing and increasing inequality in our country. Particularly striking is the fact that children of color, who are now 44 percent of America’s children, will be the majority of children in 2019 – just eight years from now.
